Contemporary Pomo Artists reflect on the heartbreak of COVID and the cultural traditions that provided hope and sustained them.

Ukiah’s Grace Hudson Museum will open its newest special exhibition September 2, 2022 – January 15, 2023. Gathering Time: Pomo Art During the Pandemic features the artwork of fifteen different contemporary Pomo artists, representing ten Pomo tribal groups that span Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties. The show encompasses multiple art forms, including painting, photography, basket weaving, regalia, jewelry, and digital media.
