The Point Arena Light Station is thrilled to present its inaugural Whale Watch Room Art Exhibit! We are welcoming Irish Beach artist Sandra Martinez Regan, who is a painter, art photographer, and philatelic artist from California. For this exhibit, Sandra will be showcasing a variety of original acrylic pour paintings, nature photography from Mendocino County, and some nature paintings in acrylic paint. She is proud to represent the town of Irish Beach, which she calls home and hopes that you will be inspired by her art.

Sandra was born and raised in San Francisco and lives in Irish Beach in Mendocino County. She finds great joy in her photography and is inspired by the works of Frida Kahlo, Vivian Maier, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and her father, the late Santa Fe muralist Ross Martinez. Sandra can be found with her Nikon D5200 camera in hand and music in her ears in the community being inspired by nature, the movement and textures of hands, the moon, US veterans and military, the beauty of everyday things and everyday people, and her many traveling adventures both in Northern California and Europe. She also enjoys experimenting with paintings and photography.

The exhibit remains through November 27.
